The principle “It is important to contribute to the whole“ is one of the principles of effective management. Effective executives do not orientate themselves by position, rank and status, but rather according to their contribution to the whole. They ask the question: „What can I do in order to make a considerable contribution to the whole? “ The guiding light of their actions is the institution for which they work and its purpose, mission and its areas of performance.
