The market position contains all variables that are important for customer value and competition (market share, position regarding customer value, awareness level etc.). These variables cannot be taken from the study book, but have to be determined in each individual case. The question is: „What determines our market position?“  In sum they provide information about the competitive strength of an enterprise.
