Often motivation (and motivating) is seen as key task of managers. However, much more important for effective managers is the concept of self-motivation. Their motto is: “Become independent from motivation by others! Learn to motivate yourself!” Effective managers have given up on the idea that someone else needs to be there to motivate them.
