The business mission is a part of the corporate policy. It determines the basic purpose, or assignment, that an institution has to fulfil in regards to routine technical tasks. It comprises the problem of the customer, one’s own strengths and one’s own values. The business mission dictates what an institution should do. It prescribes its business and ensures functionality in routine technical tasks.
