Effectiveness, in a comprehensive and system oriented understanding, is achieved when the right things are done in the right way, i.e. the criteria for effectiveness and efficiency are fulfilled at the same time. Effectiveness is the measurement for the evaluation of management as a function, as well as for the individual manager. Management is the profession of achieving results: professional management is effective management. Managerial effectiveness is determined through the principles, tasks and tools of effective management.
