Tasks of effective management contain all those management tasks that each and every executive has to fulfil if they want to be effective as a manager. These are:
1. ensuring objectives;
2. organising;
3. decision making;
4. controlling/measuring/assessing;
5. developing people.
It will not be possible for an executive to achieve long-term results without a professional fulfilment of these key tasks. Management tasks have to be differentiated from the routine technical tasks of an institution.
