Top management

Top management is the general management on the highest level of an institution. It consists of two functions – the executive and the governance function. They are the first and most important pre-requisites for a functioning management. Both top management functions play their specific part in the fulfilment of management tasks. The design and the interaction of the executive and governance function are determined by the corporate governance of an institution.
